This little adapter was just what my neighbors and I needed to get through the quarantine! When we moved out of our old apartment a few months ago, I threw away a mini projector and screen [yes, someone threw away a working projector. like what?!?!] We had wanted to try it for a long time and had a plan for an outdoor film. Night at our apartment complex hoping to meet our neighbors and give everyone a little social distancing fun on the back of this you-know-what show of the year. The only problem is that we both have MacBook Pros with two USB-C ports but no HDMI port. The Upgrow USB-C to HDMI Adapter was our answer! I was arguing between this adapter and the Apple adapter. I was hesitant to buy it at first - Apple tends to be a little picky when it comes to third-party brands - but I decided to give it a try because it was cheaper, and I'm SO glad I did. This is really a great buy for the price. ! I was a bit skeptical at first, but the connection is solid and delivers pretty impressive picture quality, even with our slightly worn old HDMI cable. We've only had it a few weeks, but it seems very durable - I like that the cable is made from a sturdy braided material that looks like rope, rather than the flimsy crap Apple uses. semester is over! Curious to know if it's compatible with my roommate's Samsung Galaxy S10. Although I don't know if she'll ever get back up once she realizes she can watch TikTok on the big screen. ;)
