Instructions are not very good but customer pictures help. Assembly is easy once you understand that the side panel that holds the upper shelf attaches to the lower basket from the outside. I kept trying to hook him into the basket and it was driving me crazy. Thanks to all customers who shared photos. If you have trouble look at some of the photos and they will show you how it should fit together. Now that I have it together I love it so much that I will buy another one. Update: the second had a broken rod. However, this does not affect the integrity of the basket and must be attached with crazy glue.
