Seriously, who pays that much for a bar of soap? After a long battle with dry skin and a hatred of heavy lotions, reviews of this soap from reputable sources and buyers made it the obvious choice. First, it smells wonderful. Even after I shower, the scent stays with me. (My shih tzu even noticed that.) The conditioner feel is somewhere between Dove, which leaves my skin super smooth, and Dr. Bronners which removes all traces of body oil and makes my skin very dry. It's a very thick soap which I find convenient to offset the cost. I expect it to last a lot longer than the standard bar. All in all, I look forward to making this my daily soap.
