This is a great deal - there are three scratching posts in the box and you can turn them over if the cats tear them up. That should be enough for me. Cats seem to enjoy scratchers as I often see and hear them using them. When it gets colder outside they don't have natural surfaces to scratch, so this item comes in very handy. Scraper pads are durable and parts don't fly all over the house like I've experienced with some low quality scrapers. This FOKICOS cat scratching post set is approved for cats and I recommend it.
