Review on πŸ“Ί Kuman 3.5 Inch Touch Screen TFT LCD Display with SPI and Touch Pen for Raspberry Pi 3B+/2B, Pi Zero W, Pi A/B by Kevin Zamora

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Upgrading your Pi will not allow this, I hope I've saved you the hassle.

I followed all the steps and it worked fine, then I updated my Pi0w and it stopped working. Turns out the latest build (a month or two ago) stopped working the screen and I'd have to do all your work to try and fix it over ssh. I would refrain from using "sudo apt update" for a new Pi project if using this screen. I hope this information is outdated and everything works, but I spent three days getting mine to work because it was the updates that caused the screen to go black. It's a great little screen for what I need it for, which is a small portable word processor for my wife.

Pros
  • The Raspberry Pi screen can work with the fbcp software driver, you can adjust the resolution with the software (the native RPI screen resolution is 320 Γ— 480).
Cons
  • High Price
