Although this screen is a bit small, it serves the purpose and is very easy to install (although if you use it with the Pi 0 want the non-w version , then things can get complicated). Also, there is a website (lcdwiki.com) with lots of information and detailed instructions on how to get this display working in different environments (different operating systems, different Pi, even has stock images), which I found very helpful. I followed all the steps and it worked fine, then I updated my Pi0w and it stopped working. Turns out the latest build (a month or two ago) stopped working the screen and I'd have to do all your work to try and fix it over ssh. I would refrain from using "sudo apt update" for a new Pi project if using this screen. I hope this information is outdated and everything works, but I spent three days getting mine to work because it was the updates that caused the screen to go black. It's a great…

Sometimes it needs drivers and works fine. but when you turn them on, HDMI stops working. and there is no clear way to uninstall the drivers and restore HDMI use on the big screen. As a result, you will have to reinstall the operating system. Nice little trick, or could work well for a 5" or 7" screen for kiosk use. This kid just isn't worth that much.
