Used to upgrade a cumbersome screw chuck that was on my Smittybilt off-road 12v Supercharger. Huge improvement! I also had to order a 1/4 NPT fitting for the hose, but this may not be for everyone if you already have a 1/4 NPT fitting to attach. This open flow cartridge allows me to turn the compressor on and run while checking the air pressure with a gauge as most 12V portable compressors don't have a pressure switch to turn them off if pressure builds up. If the tire pressure is too low, simply slide the cartridge back onto the valve stem and continue filling. With this chuck you just slide it over the valve stem and it locks automatically, no need to push a button and hope it locks in tight enough. The only time you have to touch the button on the cartridge is to release it. It is very easy to squeeze with no air leakage. Solid feel and has some weight. They have a larger model that could be even better for a few bucks.
