Review on 🚽 FLUSHMATE Flush Cartridge Kit for 500-504 Series: Optimize Your Flushmate System by Seth Wood

Our toilet with Flushmate 500 worked constantly and sometimes made a grinding noise when filling the tank. This kit includes a new cartridge along with an inlet filter and duck nose valve. Replacing all three items was easy, although removing the old cartridge was difficult. They recommend using pliers; I ended up using the legs of the pliers on the ribs in the cartridge. I thought the instructions were easy to follow. Note that in my case the new cartridge didn't need to be fully tightened - be sure to follow the directions for rotating the cartridge and waiting a few seconds to see if the reservoir starts to fill. Mine had to back out a few turns.
