I have been using this lens for more than about three years, I also took it on the d3100, now it is on the d7100 as a regular one and is still happy. For such money there are simply no alternatives to this glass. Autofocus is fast, sharpness in the center of the frame is more than sufficient. A little chromate, but the jambs are easily removed during processing. Focal 35 on aps-c gives the cherished 50mm of a standard lens - not narrow, not wide, but just right. High aperture allows you to shoot even in low light without raising the ISO and without using the flash. As for me - an excellent universal glass for every day. And taking into account the price - a definite must-have for any DX-camera.
