I have a small table that I use for various tasks. I'm a student and I enjoy playing video games and sometimes getting involved in art projects. I need a versatile space and for me that meant having a mini shelf on my desk and a monitor stand to place my keyboard on. Most monitor stands have legs in the front that make it difficult for my keyboard to fit underneath, meaning half of my desk has to be dedicated to the keyboard. This monitor stand allows me to mount a regular monitor (not a small TV, the legs would be too wide for that) and still have room for other small items like tape and pens. I have a mouse pad that only half the support sits on and it doesn't rock too much because the rubber feet on the back prevent it from moving or sliding. All in all this is a cheap monitor stand and if you are looking for something out of the ordinary then this is not the point. But it will do the job.
