Review on EXTECH MO257 - Improved Pinless Moisture Meter with Enhanced Depth of 0.78-1.6 inches by Darrell Verduzco

This Moisture Meter measures moisture well with all features and comes with a nice case. The problem is that it is short-lived. The pins break easily on anything but drywall, and the lintel holding the pins even broke. I returned the device and received either a new one or a repair. In any case, the bridge broke again, so that the pin gauge is now unusable. This after less than a year of operation. I keep it for measuring pads, but now I rely on my buddy's old Protimeter for more accurate pin measurements. I've been using the Protimeter for over 5 years and it has held up very well to my particular style of punishment, so I know Extech just isn't for it. Let's get back to Protimeter.
