Update: I have pretty good reason to believe it wasn't a bad power supply but a hardware failure in another part of my system. I don't know how it would behave under normal circumstances, so I'm changing my rating from 1 star to 4 stars in order not to damage Raidmax's reputation. Computer with RX-730SS installed (Home Theater Computer): AMD Phenom II X4 9552 x 4GB Corsair DDR3 1600GB GA-970-D3P 90GB OCZ SSD2 TB SATA3 7200rpm 3TB SATA3 7200rpm 4TB SATA3 5900rpm Blu-ray Reader/Writer AMD Radeon HD6570 1GB Hauppauge 1250 Raidmax PSU 2 x 810mm x 810mm TV Tuner 530SS) died after a year and a half of service so I figured 530w wasn't enough , so I bought an RX-730SS and the computer turned back on with no problems. Well I came home from work the next day and the new PSU died too. At this point I'm not 100% sure if the PSU is to blame or there is a problem with my system, but I'm leaning towards the PSU. I don't overclock or do anything that would stress the system too much, and I have decent ventilation, and it's winter now, so my house was between 59Β°F and 70Β°F. I'll be returning this and a PSU for another try brand . If it also dies quickly then I know something is wrong with my system and I will change my assessment here and provide an update.
