Ha-ha-ha! It's almost funny how bad this product is. I couldn't believe other reviewers who said it had no range - I guess because all my wireless keyboards, mice, etc. always worked fine no matter where they were in the room. It can work from two feet! But even then it's not entirely perfect. I see no point in having something wireless within two feet. When I first tried it, it felt so weird I thought I was doing something wrong, getting closer and closer until wham! - I stand next to the computer and it starts to work. I don't know if the manufacturer thought there was a need for very short-range wireless devices or if they were just shamelessly selling a useless item, but I know they surprised me. Now I need to find a USB extension cable to use this thing somehow.
