I use this multi cooker at least twice a week and so far so good. I like how the lid closes. In terms of cleaning technology, like all conventional multi-cookers, these are ceramic dishes with a porcelain glaze. You should never wash it in the dishwasher, preferably by hand so you don't get the white suds that appear when you put it in the dishwasher. The number keys and directions are pretty simple. I only used manual mode, but the other functions are easy to use. The only downside is that cooking at high speed is uneven. The outer foods cook much faster than the foods in the middle, simmering, boiling and sticking around the outer edges. If you're on high power, be sure to check and stir your food regularly. It takes 4 to 4 1/2 hours to cook a beef stew on low power, the beef will fall apart and the red potatoes will stay together nicely. Cook pork chops on low for about 3-3 1/2 hours and cook homemade spaghetti sauce on low for about 2 1/2 hours. Chowder made from fish or seafood is also excellently cooked in around 2.5 hours. Aside from the ceramic pan, the rest of the product is very light. For the price it's a pretty decent pot, hope it lasts a few years.
