flour container arrived with a crack on the bottom so I contacted the seller to see if they could just send a replacement container and they responded with a $10 discount. Other reviews suggest these containers have a weak structure and I should have taken that into account. Aside from the inconvenience of a damaged product and unhappy customer service, I find the products a bit overpriced. I made this purchase for several reasons: I like practicality, ingenuity, and simplicity. The containers contained tools that met the specific needs of bakers. I liked the idea of having a hook to scrape off excess flour and a cloth that came with the powdered sugar container. These tools may be handy, but they don't make up for flawed product formulations. I say defective because they were packed in styrofoam bags and placed in a large box with bubble wrap. The packaging itself seemed solid; If the item was damaged in transit, it must be defective. The only other time it could have been damaged was before packaging. But what does that say about the seller? Some materials will crack when exposed to heat, but I don't know how much heat the seller might have exposed. And if that were the case, I think it would be more than just a container. Against all odds things happen and I have given the seller an opportunity to offer a solution but they have not satisfied me so my main complaint is with their service.
