I bought it for swimming outside, requires UPF 50+! After a gentle machine wash, it does not shrink, does not change shape and does not cause problems on clothes. I'm 5 feet 5 inches tall and weigh 125 pounds. I'm glad I got the large size, thanks for the feedback. It's a bit spacious, which is what I wanted.
