Although the packaging is made of thick, durable plastic, the inside is coated with a fine white powder. Before further processing, I rinsed the balls in water and washing-up liquid. I received 201 of the promised 200. Most were fine with barely noticeable imperfections. Some had light pockmarks from the beating (as to be expected). Only one, turquoise, had serious chips and cracks. For anyone wondering, the color breakdown for the batch I received was: Amber: 7 Black (Solid): 6 Blue: 24 Clear: 41 Green: 33 Turquoise: 90 I would have liked a little more even color distribution. The whistles were on simple trinkets and simple scalloped anodized metal tubing.
