I really like these shoes! These are good lightweight shoes to wear around the house or walk to the mailbox. I wear them indoors when I'm working out or using the stationary bike and they're good for that. I don't think they would be good for outdoor sports or long walks, they don't seem designed for that. The upper is made of mesh fabric that breathes well but isn't padded. The outsole is made from a rubberized plastic that grips well on flat ground but also has some cushioning for rough terrain. The shoes are basically like a pair of high quality flip flops with a mesh upper. Sizing note: I wear a size 10 (US) and ordered this size. The shoes fit very well and are very comfortable to wear barefoot. However, they are too tight to wear with socks. If you want to wear them with socks I would recommend going up a size. In the size 10 that I have, my toes touch the bottom of the shoe when I wear them without socks. It's not uncomfortable because it's a very soft shoe and doesn't put any pressure on your toes. But if you're used to your fingers having a little more wiggle room, then you should also get bigger than you normally get. Overall I am happy with these shoes, they are exactly what I wanted for lightweight indoor and outdoor wear.
