The bag is good for anything that doesn't leak. I usually fill it with cardboard because I'm from a recycling company and I don't feel comfortable throwing them in the trash. leave a backup. Cartons can tear a bag, but it won't cause a HUGE tear like standard LDPE bags. I took off a few stars because the bag doesn't have tassels or anything to tie it up like the page says. It's just the flat top of the cylinder and you roll it up yourself but with no wires or anything like that. Maybe I didn't have any strings?
