When all else fails, this is food for dogs with sensitive tummies!

In short, if you've tried other "stomach sensitive" dog foods and had no luck, this is for you. Dogs love the taste and this is VERY helpful in maintaining consistent bowel movements. I have a 70 lb German Shepherd mix that my family adopted about three years ago. The rescuers knew nothing of her story, except that she was found a vagrant hiding in a swamp. Although she is an incredible dog, after a few months we found that she would stop eating her food, have terrible diarrhea, or both. We went to the vet, we tried all kinds of commercial dog food and even started cooking food for them. No matter what food we tried, she was fine for a month or two and we started over. After going through a special diet protocol with our vet, we discovered that she really wasn't allergic to anything apart from a few grains. Unfortunately, her stomach only seems to upset from time to time, and when it does, she gets serious intestinal problems. After several attempts at trying different products, including Hill's ID nutrition, I accidentally found this one. It saved a life. Not only does our dog love the taste (as does our other dog who keeps trying to bite it), she no longer gets sick or has accidents no matter how her stomach is working. We continue to eat this food for over 6 months and although she has the occasional stomach upset she continues to enjoy the food and has regular, persistent bowel movements. I firmly believe that the combination of limited ingredients, protein from eggs and potatoes instead of meat, no grains and probiotics makes a huge difference. If you know FortiFlora as well as we do, you'll love this food for your dog.
