They have performed well on a heavy exudate wound. The glue holds it in place well, but for our purposes, the skin around the wound was so fragile and sensitive that we were concerned the glue might further damage it. We cut off most of the sticky part and secured the bandage around the leg with gauze and taped it. This method worked well, but foam bandages without an adhesive border would have made a better choice for us. However, it's a good choice for large, exuding wounds, and if the user's skin can tolerate it, the adhesive works well.
