I wasn't sure what I would do with these bits but I liked the idea of drilling into mine model and other projects in general. The price at Revain seemed more than fair to me, so I took a chance. Bits: I break 1 or 2 bits for each hole and spend a great deal of time drilling, turning slowly and applying almost no pressure. I was able to drill a 1/64" hole through my table, which my kids thought was pretty cool. Case: Parts are difficult to get out of the case. There is a slider with a hole and many tiny grooves with bits in them. You have to line up the hole with the correct bit, but they all get stuck in the slots and I had to do something on the table to get something out. Before I resorted to it, the slider itself was already cracking from pushing/sliding on it. The case protects the bits but is not an effective or efficient storage device. Tool: The tool doesn't hold the bits tight enough because they are incredibly small. The chuck doesn't apply enough pressure to prevent the drill bit from slipping right into the tool or getting stuck in what I'm drilling when I pull the tool out. Trying to reattach the tool when the drill is stuck in the model is no easy task. In general everything is fine. It's probably worth the money I paid just to play around with them, but consider them one-time use and not for larger projects or long-term use. This set could have been made a lot better, but it would have cost three times as much.
