Review on ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ Pearl iZUMi MTB Mountain Bike Shoe Cover with Barrier Technology by Ryan Koser

Revainrating 5 out of 5

For mountain bikes this should be your only choice

I've tried several other overshoes but they were all really designed for road cycling shoes (smaller). Specially designed for MTB shoes, they fit perfectly. They are very well made (like all PI stuff) and did a great job of keeping my feet dry and warm. I should point out that they alone will NOT keep your feet warm in 40 degree weather or less. You'll still want to wear wool/double socks, IMO. A few layers of wool socks should help in very cold conditions (30 and below). A NOTICE. They don't have a zipper, just a Velcro strap that wraps around the back of the foot. I'm having a bit of a hard time sticking the velcro top to bottom (I wear a US size 12) BUT the part that sticks has always held up really well during my rides (so far!).

Pros
  • Cycling
Cons
  • Some difficulties
