Exactly what I needed - Shoes

Received yesterday and today it was raining and less than 6C. They kept my feet warm and dry. I have no complaints about them yet. They are easy to put on and you can even take off your shoes without removing the covers. Unlike others, I had no issues with the closure around the heel. I bought a medium size and it fits my Addidas size 41.5 perfectly. I'm a bit concerned about durability as the overshoes hide the toe cleats. So I'm assuming excessive walking wears down that part. I'm not sure if

For mountain bikes this should be your only choice

I've tried several other overshoes but they were all really designed for road cycling shoes (smaller). Specially designed for MTB shoes, they fit perfectly. They are very well made (like all PI stuff) and did a great job of keeping my feet dry and warm. I should point out that they alone will NOT keep your feet warm in 40 degree weather or less. You'll still want to wear wool/double socks, IMO. A few layers of wool socks should help in very cold conditions (30 and below). A NOTICE. They don'tโ€ฆ

Warm but difficult to put on

As other reviewers have said, these boots are difficult to put on. I wear 8.5 women's outdoor shoes (40.5 in my Giro cycling shoes) and ordered a medium size for these overshoes. The average size does not fit me - people with larger shoe sizes need to order more. In my opinion there are a few small design flaws in these boots, namely: - The cuff coming out of the overshoes is tilted backwards, but logically most bikers will always be in a position where their leg is either straight or at aโ€ฆ

It's something you can't see in the pictures

So after doing a little searching and reading some of the reviews on here I decided to take the plunge and ordered a pair of these. I'm glad I ordered XL. I wear size 9 (43) and the shoes fit very easily. To be honest they are too long. 1/2 inch maximum. However, going one size down results in a very tight compression throughout the rest of the shoe. The upper is neoprene and looks very good. can be nubuck leather or vinyl if you prefer. When I open the cover all the way it looks like the vinyl
