Plastic ends on both sides are flexible, it's supposed to be hard and strong, if it's flexible, it won't stick to the throttle body, doesn't matter how tight you tighten the clamps. Just buy a genuine OEM part, don't waste your money on this unless you want countless hours of installing and dismantling everything, which is good practice lol. I've been trying for over 6 hours and the ladies are almost pro at it lol.
