Review on Elasto-Gel Cervical Collar CC102B: Enhanced Comfort & Support for Neck Pain Relief by Lisa Carter

I have had this item for two weeks now. I was distraught after a sudden attack of headaches including a 30 hour migraine. I wasn't sure the sudden cause of my headache, but I had sinus pressure and neck tension. I went to the doctor to see if I had any infections and I didn't have any. She concluded that I had allergies and tension headaches. I received this product with the Elasto-Gel eye mask. I received the eye mask first in the mail. I heated it up, look, it's very hot even with the instructions, but after a few minutes I put it on, and after a few minutes my headaches were less and the pain in the back of my eyes was less. It was really relaxing. A few days later I was able to receive my Elasto Gel collar. I woke up with my neck twisted and my collar hot. The collar folds over the back and secures with a warm wrap around the neck and an adjustable Velcro strap. It took my tension headaches for about 15 minutes. Having both products I used them every day for the first week I got them, now I use them every other day as my shoulder and neck tension has improved a lot since starting this therapy. Elasto-Gel Neck Collar Pro: It works! Relieves tension in shoulders and neck. Quickly relieves tension headaches. Very relaxing, especially in combination with the Elasto-Gel eye mask. The gel feels very strong and does not lose its shape or flatten when laid. Disadvantages: Difficult to heat due to the awkward shape. It must be heated in the microwave from both sides. It needs to be folded to fit in our microwave, although it's not very big. Our microwave is above the stove, a regular microwave. Doesn't get as hot as you'd like with the recommended heat up time, but as stated on the label, wattage and times will vary. Don't use it in microwave after cooking food with strong odor. The smell sticks to the fabric to be washed. I have not used this product cold. I can't think of a cold relaxing tension headache. :)
