I'm new to the (apparently very active) ground pepper community. Before that, I used a $5 universal pepper grinder that was non-refillable. I found this out after buying peppercorns for refills, otherwise I'd probably buy the exact same thing again. But thank God I didn't! It changed everything. I love to cook and I do it 7 days a week. I used to feel compelled to add pepper, but now I want to do it. The grind allows the peppers to stand out when cooking, or choose a finer grind for garnishing. I had no problems refilling, the quality is great and I will never go back to cheap plastic grinders.
