Perfect size for three year old boy (who is small for his age). In the photo the smaller one is blue and the larger one is teal. We bought the small, light blue scooter for our little grandson and the regular size in teal for our older granddaughters. The small one - the size I’m reviewing - is actually a bit harder to ride because the foot rests are closer together. If a child is a typical size three year old, or larger, I’d go with the full size. We all rode the larger ones and had a great time. Our little grandson is a bit too small for the large but still preferred it over this one. And again, if he was a typical size three year old the larger one would be big, but easier to ride than this smaller size.If the small one had wider foot rests it would have been perfect. Still - well made and easy to assemble.
