Ideal for battens and plaster walls
The thing is great for my plastered walls. I've had trouble finding cleats to hang shelves and heavy frames in my newly bought home, but this little magnet saved me a lot of frustration. I wish it was a little stronger because some of the nails in my board are too deep for the magnet to stick to the wall, but you can still feel the magnet's pull to mark the pins.
