At first I bought a similar adapter from t-link, but it did not have firewood for OS older than win8 and no firewood for non-Windows OS. I have win7, but I decided to return it, after all, this is a portable adapter and I want something more universal. We looked with the seller for a replacement, chose this one. At first, I was confused by an unknown brand, when I chose it myself, I had not seen one, but I decided to take a chance. - With firewood, a utility is installed to connect to wifi, I don’t need it, because. the standard functionality of Windows works with and without an adapter. But if you remove the utility, firewood also falls off. I just had to disable the utility in startup. I don’t know, maybe some other firewood is on the disks that come with the kit, and there is no such problem.
