This thing SPLASHES for its size and produces a clean, clear sound. I was a little hesitant to buy a refurbished model and heard reviews criticizing the battery life or a few other bad reviews, but decided to pull the trigger and save about $50. I can't find any flaws or distinguish a factory new speaker. The battery life is solid. I've charged it a few times but have a feeling it'll last 5 hours when slammed (aka Project X, circa 2010, SLAPS rave status) and probably 8 hours or more when you cool it down and light music - to be honest, not paying attention, although it could take a lot longer. The point is that the battery is not an issue (for my particular issue). This kid is good for everything from copying patron shots like Kendrick Lamar's Absolute Wilder to playing smooth Bach classic playlists with Bloomberg spreadsheet interfaces and calculating cost ratios. absolute FIRE!
