Very reliable grinder at an affordable price. Overall I love this grinder, in fact I use it instead of my Oxogerne grinder. It's definitely not the best manual grinder but I bought it in the heat of the day and for $55 it's the best grinder on the market. The grind is fairly consistent across the Aeropress/Spray range. It could be called espresso, but I won't even try, and for a French press, grind uniformity suffers. The non-slip surface is actually not as comfortable as I first thought... depending on the strength and day, it even hurts a bit. It is designed for a maximum weight of 30g, and yes, that's a lot, I wouldn't grind more than 1-2 grams. At $80, I'd still buy it a little cheaper than an encore, even if you lose all the convenience of an electric coffee grinder (but I value a single dose over that convenience). If you ever see this for $55 again don't hesitate, just buy it.
