I bought the blue version because I don't need the regular black ink printing that was so common. My dogs names are Ocean and Blue so I decided to buy some blue ink to record their paw prints on. I chose the extra large version which was perfect for two large (60-70 pounds) dogs with limited space. The print turned out wonderfully, but requires a very firm, clean hand. My only complaint is that one of the ink pads I received had a large ink stain (like someone accidentally pressed on the plastic side already). While this did affect my print as the missing ink made that part of the print lighter, I didn't think it was that big of a deal as I was aiming for a faded look anyway. I still felt it was important to point this out as that was my only downside. I bought additional items to give as baby shower gifts!
