The kit was pretty good - had all the lengths needed. Spend a lot more time figuring out where to place them than actually installing them! The only drawback is the many cables that come with it. The main power line goes to a two line splitter, each end of which leads to a four line splitter to which the light strips are finally attached. All of these cords have connectors so you can organize the cords in a variety of ways and decide how long you want the light to stay on. It'll take you a while to figure out just how many wires you end up hiding under your seat. Includes far more colors and lighting schemes than you'll ever need. I particularly like the flashing to the music function, but it only works well when the bike is off. Once the engine starts, the music becomes too muted to interact effectively with the light. The small remote control works perfectly, and there's a separate line switch that turns the system off completely to save battery drain (at least that's how it works, I think). In general a good buy, I'm happy.
