I took the temperature probe in order to cook steaks on the grill "according to science". The result is generally pleasing, but there are some inconveniences, because. the probe sticks out of a piece of meat in close proximity to the heated surface. Also, the display (apparently in order to save energy) constantly goes out, which makes it difficult to control the cooking process.
- Quality materials: the case appears to be made of steel, while the button and display glass are made of heat-resistant plastic. Fast response to temperature change. Convenient eyelet for hanging the device. Cap to protect the thermo-sensor.
- At the most inopportune time, the display backlight turns off. In my case, a temperature probe with a remote or wireless sensor would be more convenient, but this is my own fault.
