This bag fits my new Dell XPS 17 (9700) no problem! The outer pocket is large and has two smaller pockets on the inside that are perfect for the "flat" XPS charger - the cable with the thick mains plug fits in one pocket and the box that is still plugged in fits into the second pocket. I also bought a very thin Anker dongle with HDMI and Ethernet ports (www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07X8ZLYLR) and it fits in a zip pocket too! The Anker dongle is better than the dongle provided by Dell because it has HDMI + Ethernet + 3 USB 3.1 A ports compared to the Dell dongle (HDMI + 1 USB 3.1 A port).
