Just what I need to convert some fluorescent downlights to LED. I simply removed the ballast and bulbs and used a self tapping screw to attach them to the base of the fixture. Connect them. Place several 10.5W Philips 5000K LED bulbs to match the color of the fluorescent tubes. And everything closed. Fast work and now the annoying rumble of gravel is gone. No longer flickers on startup. And instant start. And half as much energy as the old F20T12 lamps. For every 20W F20T12 I use 1 - 10.5W LED. The light intensity is slightly brighter. Next on the list are fluorescent lighting in the bathroom and laundry room.
