This collar is very cute and just like the picture. However, our 17 pound dude managed to break the collar the first night we put it on him. I'm not sure if it's the stitching or the fabric, or if the collar was overly lined, but I expected the collar to last a little longer. Maybe the one we received was torn? I'm not a seamstress but I was able to sew it after removing some of the padding as we really like the pattern. I also had to add extra knots at the back to keep the collar from unraveling. If you are looking for a more durable Japanese style cat collar, I would suggest purchasing similar style collars from Etdane. Our other 3 cats have been wearing Etdane collars for the past 6 months and they have held up very well. Overall this collar is good for the price.
