ORIGINAL REVIEW (see update below) ---------------------- ------ --- ---- If the pumps in the two sets I ordered hadn't cracked I would give this one 4 stars. Pros: *Large bags fit easily. My thread tangles.* Bags are well constructed, strong and easy to close.* Works with the extra suction port on my FoodSaver vacuum sealer.* Convenient moisture indicator and desiccant included. Cons* The acrylic nozzle at the top of the pump was cracked, preventing vacuum generation. * The above cracks occurred on two separate pumps. The manufacturer needs to pack the pumps better. They just sit in a box. UPDATE (07/13/2021)------------------------------Upgrade to 3 stars The manufacturer contacted me and a replacement kit made available. Nora from her customer service team was very polite, helpful and prompt. The new kit also had a defective pump, but I was able to substitute parts from the original kit to get the pump working. Once I had a working pump I could see how easy the whole system was to use. You simply push the pump onto the valve and start pumping. Assuming you made sure to squeeze out most of the air before sealing the bag, it only takes a few squeezes to create a significant vacuum inside the bag. My spools of filament have been sealed inside for weeks with no visible loss of vacuum. I previously said it would have been 4 stars if the pumps were working but after some experience I can say it would have been 5. It's a shame the pumps were such an issue because the pockets are great. I hope the manufacturer can solve their pump problems and earn 5 stars!
