I'm by no means an artist and I've mostly been to art parties, which were always fun. I needed an easel at the last minute because I decided to gift a painting to my (then) boyfriend. At first I wanted to go to JoAnn's Fabric and see if they have something durable and not expensive but first I went online and they had one or two but a bit more than I wanted to spend. I didn't know how often I would use the easel but I needed it for my painting (gift) and found it an original idea. This easel was spot on for the price with 2 day shipping so I bought it. I couldn't be happier with that. It's the perfect size for a small canvas (8x8 or 10x10) and hasn't fallen off. plus it comes with additional consumables. If you're new to drawing or just want to try your hand at painting, this is a great option at a reasonable price. Highly recommended. It does the job! :)
