Slower than my phones so far

So far this tablet has been a bit slow. (I don't even use it to type this in. I'm on a phone.) I downloaded a memory checker to make sure the tablet really has as much memory as it needs, because the easiest way to ruin a good tablet and to make the processor seems slow to install insufficient memory. This tablet has 1.9 gigabytes of DRAM, so that should be enough for at least earlier versions of Android. This tablet uses Android 9. Each version of Android consumes more memory than the previous one. (That's why Android 8 and 9 Lite have versions called Go Editions. But I think the Go edition is a signal that you're looking for low-end hardware.) I've previously looked at similar tablets from Vankyo (MatrixPad) and Viewed DragonTouch I bought Fusion 5. *If* they ship with Android 8 instead of 9 (I forgot) one of them might be a better choice than this one. Look for as much DRAM and storage as you can get for the price you want, then get a phone or tablet with the same specs as the oldest version of Android. If you later need a newer Android version, Google will provide you with a free upgrade. But if you get the new version and hate it, stick with it. I like at least two things about this tablet running Android 9. It has a handy high contrast text option. Taking screenshots is much easier.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
