Beware of fake 5 star plastic models that will break the first time you use them! Very happy with it! Solid metal with metal hex head screws. Installed it on my 2001 Honda Shadow 750 ACE. The side clamp screws secure my Galaxy S8+ easily. In fact, once you've placed the clips to fit your phone, you only need to tighten one side.
