Let me start by saying that there is nothing wrong with this product in terms of formula. It absorbs well, but at the same time I feel like I'm putting a film on my hair that I can't burn away with a flamethrower. Does not slip (or wet) too much on 4c hair so can be used in combination with another leave-in. I blow-dried my hair with this and another conditioner at medium temperature and then ironed it at 410 degrees with a silk infusion. Not a single heat damage in sight. (Update 2nd application: I had a little heart attack while washing my hair. My hair didn't come back for a second. I think it's because it built up on the hair and didn't let it. My hair came Finally returned after a little washing and I was impressed but it is both proof that this product is not susceptible to moisture and a warning to wash your hair thoroughly after each use.Very small amount of product at a time. Very annoying.
