Poor quality control
I would return it if I didn't think a workable one was still of good value. 3 out of 25 of these bolts are completely useless. The 12% reject rate is really high for boxed equipment, so plan accordingly. Personally I wouldn't trust this brand for serious structural support, but those that can be used seem good enough for general assembly purposes and do well with woodworking jigs. bought them for.
