It fits my 2 medium sized small dogs, the largest of which is 23lbs. I love that you can attach their paint to the leash so they don't jump out and roam around the car. It has a strap that wraps around the back of the seat and attaches to the two hooks on the front of the basket which is handy but no instructions were supplied so to be honest I'm just guessing that's what it is . One of my dogs is a nervous rider and that seems to have helped too which is great. Also, it makes them safer and won't fall anywhere when you turn or brake. It was worth every penny! I would give it 5 stars but there are 2 small PVC tubes that you insert on the sides for obvious stability support that can be permanently sewn in at the factory or at least have a latch or something to hold them in place and do not partially glue . behind and I have to worry about one of them falling out and getting lost before I use it next time. This is my only complaint. (But still worth buying) I've seen some complaints that the bottom isn't firm but honestly it doesn't bother dogs and I think it works better than not because it kind of doesn't allow them to slide, when they're sitting or lying, rock them slightly like a car seat does.
