I've been looking for the perfect wireless headset for a long time. I'm done with crooked headphones popping when plugged in and snagging on things and unplugging them (maybe that's why they started crackling afterwards). I researched all possible models and decided on this one. Pros: + Surround sound is excellent. Hearing footsteps in game is very important to dominate shooters. and it helps me identify the enemy just by the sound. I can see if anyone is refilling anywhere on the map. + The microphone is reliable. I like the detachable connection when I just want to listen to music. The mute button is on the left ear. along with the main volume control. + Pairing is very easy. The dongle connects to the game console and you simply go into the sound settings and press and hold the power button to turn it on and pair. + These LED indicators are unobtrusive. They don't distract. They tell people I'm in the game. even in a dark room. I can turn them off with a simple push of a button.+ The charge indicator tells you when it's time to plug it in. Surprised how long they hold a charge. Comes with a nice long micro charging cable. + Wireless is BETTER! I don't know why it took me so long to get a pair. I was worried it needed a key but it worked fine. I didn't even need the manual, but it's 5 pages long to clear up everything that's not yet intuitive.+Very handy. They don't get hot and feel soft in the ears while maintaining Sound Isolation+. Bass. They said it had deep bass, and they weren't kidding. The bass is amazing. Explosions and gameplay are cinematic. CONS: First, they didn't fit very snugly around my ear. The bottom was a bit open. I was able to fix this easily by tilting the metal frame inwards slightly on each side. Now they fit snugly in my ear and fit well. what difference does this optimization make. - The pressure is good. but they are not true noise canceling. The microphone can filter noise. that is, some smart tech, but the headphones themselves with more passive noise-cancelling. I didn't expect them to be completely soundproof. They do a good job of isolating gameplay from private life. For the money this was a great investment. Wireless is the only way to use the headphones. I will never go back to cable. but it's nice to know that I can plug in the included cable if needed.
