I would like to point out that this filter does the job. I love that it has its own skimmer. I wanted this in my bedroom but the noise the motor makes and the vibration it makes is much louder than desire. A knocking sound can also be heard when the lid is closed. If you buy this filter, I would recommend getting your own pre-filter sponge and filter sponge. I don't think there is much room for bio media like Seachem Matrix. If you don't mind noise and are looking for a skimmer nanofilter, this might be for you.
