OVERVIEW: Worked great for connecting my work laptop to a large home monitor! BACKGROUND: I used my heavily locked work laptop for the test. I needed a way to connect my 4K monitor to my laptop and the monitor only supports 4K via DisplayPort. As soon as I connected my laptop to the adapter, my laptop recognized my monitor and I was able to set it as the primary display. I didn't need to install any drivers and neither did Windows install them. My work laptop doesn't download drivers from the internet, so I know this adapter doesn't require anything special. The adapter did exactly what I needed with no issues; it really is plug and play. WHAT I LIKE: - No drivers required - Works right out of the box - Supports 4K (4096x2160) "Ultra-Wide" resolution There's nothing I didn't like about this product. Featured!
