Review on Woodstock D3978 Grinding Jig by Samik Drusky

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Woodstock D3978 requires custom mods to work properly.

This element works on the principle of a uniformly round nylon rod that slides in a finely machined groove without "play". The problem is that the holes in the nylon pole have been drilled imprecisely and when the three socket head screws that attach the pole to the work platform are tightened, the pole will not seat properly. You must open these holes. , both the hexagon socket head diameter and the screw body diameter, by 0.5mm to fix the rod. Not a product killer as this is the only model of this light available to my knowledge, but it's annoying. Anyone who can use the device should be able to diagnose and fix the problem.
