The ring is really very beautiful. I'm a big fan of split shank rings and these are great quality, at least when you get them for the first time. The center stone is a bit big for my finger, but I bought it for occasional wear, not an everyday ring, so I don't mind. It's perfectly shiny, I don't know if it will pass as 'real' but I will say it's good enough, I don't think anyone will scold you for saying it. I have included both photos with the flash on and off so you can see the ring in real life. I purchased when no evaluation photos were available to view and there was only one other evaluation so I was very nervous that I would be returning another ring but I am impressed and will keep it! The side profile of the ring is high, sitting slightly higher than my wedding bands. If you have young children or like a lower profile ring I will say it costs a little more than I am usually comfortable with. Usually I'm a size 6.25 or 6.5, I asked the seller to recommend between 6 or 7 and they didn't answer. Usually 7 swings around my finger and even falls. That was not the case with this ring. The weight keeps the 7 securely in place.
